In the middle of the district Havelland there is a small lake surrounded by forest only with a narrow access.Where the lake is found today there was a huge castle many years ago. In that castle there lived a knight together with his liegemen. This lord was very cruel to his servants and committed a series of robberies to surrounded villages. One evening it happened that an old man visited the lord. "I come to warn you", spoke the elderly. "Quit your robberies, your nastiness and cruelness", The old man gave the lord a period of 90 days. He vanished the same way he appeared.

The lord didn`t care about that and went on his cruel life worse than ever. After exactly 90 days, the words of the old man had been forgotten, a bad a storm broke. The lord sat in his castle together with his liegemen after a robbery when an immense rumble coulld be heared in the walls. Suddenly the solid walls shook and with a big noise everything sank into the depth covered by a big layer of mud. Even today the lake, named by the place Landin, isn`t very deep and the fishes that are got from the mud taste muddy and bad and remember on the black soul of the lord.
