How the "Teufelsberg" (devil`s hill) came into being in the Luch of Pohl

In the Luch of Pohl near Friesack there is a hill which raises conical out of the surrounded flat and on top of it there is a deep hole.This hill was made by a giant or a colossus and is called Teufelsberg (devil`s hill).

Once upon a time there was a colossus on "Hohen Rott" and on "R¸tsche Berge" there was a female colossus. As there was the marsh area called "Luch" between both hills the "Hohen Rott" and "R¸tsche Berge" the giant had to go a long way to get to the hill "R¸tsche Berge". Finally the female colossus had an idea how they could change that. She took an apron full of sand. Then she did a big step into the "Luch" and droped the soil. Now the colossus could get to her in two steps. As he put his foot on the "Teufelsberg" a deep hole arised that can still be found there.
